For the second and significantly expanded edition of the Nikon F Trilogy all chapters have been revised – if necessary. I have added new collector parts as well as new types which were not included in the edition of 2003. All tables were revised and numerous types were added. Many pictures (about 1,000 new pictures) expand the three books especially many pictures over half a page. Newly added are many reproductions of covers of brochures, instruction manuals and repair manuals. The 2021 edition, in English language, has 900 color pages with 1,850 pictures and a format of 21x30cm.
As part of the Nikon F Trilogy, this volume contains the Nikon F with many externally recognizable changes over the production period as well as the special camera models. The Nikkor story, a German specialty, is also described in detail. In total, 244 full color printed pages show 390 pictures, including 65 half or full page pictures. Almost 140 reproductions of the cover, or the content of brochures, instructions, and repair manuals, are included.
As part of the Nikon F Trilogy, this volume contains a comprehensive overview of all lenses for the Nikon F shown in 288 full-color printed pages. The description is enhanced with many detailed tables and 380 pictures, including 100 half- page or full-page pictures. Almost 140 reproductions of the cover or the content of brochures, instructions and repair manuals are included.
As part of the Nikon F Trilogy, this volume contains a all of the accessories made for the Nikon F system, shown in 372 full-color printed pages. The description is enhanced by many detailed tables, and 640 pictures that including approximately 160 half-page or full-page pictures. Almost 130 reproductions of the cover or the content of brochures, instructions and repair manuals are included.
About The Author
Uli Koch has more than 40 years of experience and love of Nikon, and has been a serious collector of Nikon equipment for many decades. In 2003 he has written a 3-volume book, the Nikon F Trilogy, a comprehensive overview of one of the milestones of the Nikon Corporation. In 2016 his deep-seated knowledge, plus the added input of other word-wide collectors finally lead into the book about 100 years (1917 – 2016) of Nikon products which he compiled as seen from the eyes of an avid collector. In 2020 he added the book „Nikon Microscopes – The first 50 years“ with with many previously unknown details about Nikon microscopes from the mid 1920s to the mid 1970s. In October 2021, the revised and expanded 2nd edition of the Nikon F Trilogy was published with about 900 pages and 1,850 images in 3 volumes.
